Ho Kee Pau began as a humble street-side kiosk along the vibrant lanes of Geylang, founded and managed by a devoted husband-and-wife team.
Built out of necessity and a desire to create a better future, the brand was shaped by their shared vision and unwavering commitment. In 1992, this journey reached its first milestone with the opening of our very first outlet at Lorong 27 Geylang—marking the transformation from a modest setup into a dedicated space of our own.

From the very beginning, every detail was approached with intention. Each pau was meticulously handcrafted by our founder, Mr. Ng, reflecting a deep respect for quality and consistency. At the forefront, his wife brought warmth and life to the brand—personally engaging customers, building genuine connections, and inviting them to experience food made with care.

As one of the pioneers in Singapore to introduce the takeaway bao concept, Ho Kee Pau redefined convenience without compromising on craftsmanship. With growing support from the community, the brand expanded beyond its original roots—bringing its offerings into heartland malls in 1994, and making thoughtfully made comfort food more accessible to all.
